because I love the colour teal.
Here's my card
I used the leaf-y branches stamps from Altenew's Floral Shadow stamp set using my MISTI. I used both Cracked Pistacchio and Peacock Feathers to create the "teal"-like colour. I also die cut the sentiment using two colours of cardstock which mimic the colours of the ink. I chose to slightly offset the two die cuts (like a shadow). Here's a close-up.

What a fab card Sue! The stamping is gorgeous, really stylish, and I love the two-tone sentiment which is still subtle but with added "pop". Love it! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)
ReplyDeleteBeautifully crisp and elegant and a wonderful way to showcase your stamps. Pretty use of those teal tones and Thanks so much for playing along at Less is More this week. x
ReplyDeleteI love the two tones that you have used on the leaves, Sue - it is so effective and looks like light shining through the foliage! The offset die cut is a great finishing touch. Thank you for playing along with us at Less is More this week :)
ReplyDeleteThis is heavenly Sue! You have matched two gorgeous colours of distress ink to give a wonderful tonal effect on the leaves. I love the lighter colour behind the sentiment too, A very sophisticated card. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx
