Sunday Stamps SSC143

There is a color challenge at Sunday Stamps this week.

Here's my card

I was inspired by this post on Virginia Lu's blog, where she made her own watercolor paper. I used distress inks (spun sugar, shaded lilac) and Hero Arts ink (soft cantaloupe) added with a waterbrush on watercolor paper to create a plaid. I used Simon Says STAMP's Believe die to cut the sentiment. I added Wink of Stella to the sentiment to add a bit of sparkle. Here's a close-up.

To add dimension to the card, I used a piece of fun foam to pop up the watercolor plaid panel.
