AUGUST 2016
Use Twine and/or Colors
I really enjoy challenges. I find that I need to stretch my creativity and try things that I hadn't tried before. I put on my thinking cap and checked out Pinterest. I found this youtube video - here
Here's my card
Here's a close-up of the graduation cap
For the graduation cap, I used a 1.75" x 1.75" square piece of cardstock. I didn't have any bakers twine in any of the colours of the challenge. So, I found some embossing thread in a corresponding colour and used it. I used a brad to adhere the tassel to the black square.
I felt that the card needed a bit more detail. I embossed a white panel with the Cuttlebug Oxford embossing folder. I used dimensionals to pop the graduation cap up. The sentiment is from the Paper Smooches' Salutation stamp set.
