Muse Card Challenge #131

Here's my card
It's for the current challenge at Muse Card Club

 Here's Carol Mayne's card



I never joined the "feather" craze (or at least haven't yet - LOL!). So, I looked through my stamps to try to find something that would work. I also chose a STAMPlorations set - this one because some of the leaf images had some writing and designs on them, like the feathers that Carol used.
I inked up each leaf with one colour and then added a second colour (I want to say strategically, but it really was more randomly). Seeing that we're in September, I chose to use autumn-like colours.

 I chose a sentiment with some cursive writing, similar to Carol's card.

 I'm working at not being so literal with my interpretations of the Muse cards. How did I do?

    How did you do? AWESOME! I'm totally thrilled with your translation of my card and especially delighted because I, too, have the leaves set which I've never inked up!     I love that you used leaves instead of the feathers and that they are from the same company! They look fabulous the way you inked them up!
