Here's my card
It's for the current challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches
I was inspired by this quilt I saw on Pinterest
It can be found at this link
As I was assembling the card, I felt that the background needed to be something other than white - so I opted for two shades of grey, separated by a thin (1/4") black strip. To keep everything on the same level, I used CM photo splits to hold the three pieces together before I adhered it to the card base.

Your squares look so 3D, like windows being opened. Love it! Thanks for sharing at CC&S.
ReplyDeleteYou've been very true both to your inspiration piece and our sketch at CC&S this week. I love the 3D illusion created by the squares. Stef x
ReplyDeleteI agree with my teammates - the way you've color blocked the squares makes it look 3D. It reminded me of revolving doors! :) It's way cool! Thanks so much for making CC&S part of your crafting fun!
ReplyDeleteThis is fab Sue! I really do love the 3D look and the simple geometrics...awesome! :)
