Hello Monday (well, at least for a few more hours here on the West Coast)! It's time for a new sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
Here's my card
I started this card by inking up a 2" x 2" scrap of white cardstock which I inked with distress inks (spiced marmalade, mustard seed and picked raspberry). I then die cut a butterfly using Paper Smooches' Butterfly Duet die. I looked through my scraps of patterned paper for three papers that seemed to go together. For the sentiment, I used STAMPlorations Trendy Butterflies 2 stamp set, stamped onto a scrap of yellow cardstock, cut into a rectangle.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #287
UGH! I'm late. I try to post every Monday. Well, it's still Tuesday - at least here in Vancouver for another forty-odd minutes. There's a new sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge to inspire you
Here's my card
The circles of the card reminded me of balloons. I use Paper Smooches' Balloons dies and Sizzix circle dies for the balloons and a thin black marker for the balloon strings. I used a scrap of striped printed paper for the vertical strip. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler, stamped onto a bright yellow strip. To bring out the grey from the striped printed paper, I used a light gray for the card's background.
Hope this week's sketch inspires you.

STAMPlorations CAS October Challenge
Just a reminder for you to join us at STAMPlorations CAS where the challenge is
Here's my reminder card
I've been watching Jennifer McGuire's partial die cutting technique and have been intrigued. Of course, I don't have many stamp and die sets so I had to improvise by fussy cutting. I used STAMPlorations Hello You stamp set. I stamped the typewriter to the left and the sentiment to the right. The strip was 1.25" and I cut around the typewriter to the top and bottom. I found some white on black patterned paper for the background. It's a clean and simple card today.

A Tribute for Melissa
A fellow papercrafter and teammate, at STAMPlorations, Melissa Lane, recently passed away. We're holding this tribute blog hop in her honour.
She was a super-talented papercrafter and loved butterflies. We're remembering her with butterfly cards. Here is mine.
I started with STAMPlorations Trendy Butterflies 2 stamp set which I heat embossed with clear embossing powder on black cardstock. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches' Salutations stamp set, also heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I added some colour using Prismacolor Premier colored pencils. Unfortunately, they don't show well in the first picture. Here's a better picture.
We're saddened by her loss and send prayers to her family.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #286
Hi Friends! It's Monday which means that it's time for a new sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Here it is.
Here's my card
I started with a Sizzix 2" circle die to create a mask. I added distress ink (squeezed lemonade and mustard seed) with ink blending tools in the circle - to mimic the sun. I then die cut the sprig using Penny Black's Flower Frolic die and black cardstock. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches' Salutations stamp set. Added a few sequins for a bit of sparkle.

Growing in Unity Blog Hop
Hi! So blessed to be part of a blog hop at Growing in Unity on Facebook. In full disclosure, I totally forgot about this. However, grateful that some of my Unity Stamps are so versatile, that I could create a card in less than 30 minutes!
Here's my card
This one-layer card was made by masking a 1.25" area off, towards the top of an A2 card (landscape) with post-it tape. I added some tumbled glass distress ink, applied with an ink blending tool to the area. Then, I stamped Flowers from Neverland itty bitty stamp in the area. To add some color after I carefully removed the post-it tape, I used ink daubers and distress inks (picked raspberry, abandoned coral, spiced marmalade, mustard seed, salty ocean, wilted violet and peacock feathers) stamped over the flowers. I'm loving the bright and happy colors. The sentiment from hang in there lady stamp set was stamped below the inked area.
You should have arrived from Denise Sayers. The next stop on the blog hop is Aimee Phillips.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #285
It's Monday so it's time for a new challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challege
Here's this week's sketch
Here's my card
When I saw this week's sketch, I knew which stamp set to use - Itsy Bitsy Giggles by Unity Stamps. I stamped the image and added color with Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils. I used scraps of green patterned paper for the little banners, hanging from the focal panel. The sentiment is from Hero Arts Year Round Sentiments stamp set.
Looking forward to what you create. Won't you join us?

House of Cards - October Challenge
UGH! I'm late. It should be no surprise when the 1st of a new month comes around - pay bills, post a card at House of Cards. At least I managed to pay the bills on time.
Here's this month's inspiration
Autumn Flowers and/or Colors
Here's my card
I started by stamping STAMPlorations Helenium - Large bloom around the A2 96 lb bristol card panel with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I added color with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a waterbrush. For the sentiment, I heat embossed with gold embossing powder using Papertrey Ink's Keep It Simple - Thank You stamp set on a strip of vellum.
Here's a close-up of the sentiment.
Trimmed the card panel and matted the card on some green cardstock.
