Simon Says STAMP Wednesday Challenge: Make It Sparkle
Yup, there is a reason why I don't usually use glitter or glitter paper. UGH - it's everywhere :)
Here's my card
It's for the current challenge at Simon Says STAMP Wednesday Challenge
I used this Lil' Inkers die to cut two pieces of glitter cardstock - pinkish/purpleish and silver. I used the "background" of the pinkish/purpleish cardstock and filled in with the silver cardstock. I can use the "extra" pieces to make a similar card.
I found a piece of scrap printed paper to use as a background.

Stampin' Royalty SR #309
The current challenge at Stampin' Royalty
is
is
Oh, Baby!!!
Create a project with a Baby Theme!!
This was a real challenge for me. I don't make baby cards at all! I had to start with a stamp set - didn't really have one. Fortunately, my local scrapbooking store had this one, on sale.
I stamped the rattle, baby bottle and duck and coloured the images with copics. I cut out the panels and then stamped the sentiment on a similar colour cardstock. I found some printed paper that coordinated well to add a bit of interest and to permit the panels to pop a bit.

Freshly Made Sketches #217
The current challenge at Freshly Made Sketches is based on this sketch
Here's my card
I used this CTMH stamp set for both the image and sentiment.

Papertrey Ink December 2015 Blog Hop
It's been two weeks since I've posted here.
I was busy making my Christmas cards and sending them off. I'm a bit disappointed with the postal system - I paid extra so that my cousin's card would arrive in 3 days - I mailed it on the 16th of December and I don't think that it's even close! Oh well ...
OK - I'm back on the card challenge bandwagon.
I made this card for the current Papertrey Ink Blog Hop
Here's the inspiration photo
I used these Papertrey Ink stamp sets
I heat embossed with white embossing powder the sentiment and the leaves on black cardstock. I added the green colour with copics. I cut the black cardstock into a circle, added the stitch marks with my white Signo pen and three little red pearls. I adhered this to red cardfront.

Here's the sketch
I used this MFT stamp set
I stamped the "speech bubble" on red and fussy cut it, adhered it to a blue circle and popped it up with dimensionals onto a banner from a scrap of patterned paper.
I felt that the background needed a "bit more". I embossed a piece of grey cardstock with this embossing folder.

Mojo Monday 427 Contest
Here's my card
It's for the current challenge/contest at Mojo Monday
Here's the sketch
I used distress inks and ink blending tools (tumbled glass, broken china, salty ocean and faded jeans to ink up a piece of cardstock. I then used this embossing folder to add "texture".
I cut a square piece and then cut that into four little squares. I mounted these (keeping their orientation) on a piece of dark blue cardstock. I found a scrap of printed paper that worked for the horizontal band.
On a scrap piece of white cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from this Stampin Up set.
I added a few stamped snowflakes and die cut the sentiment and snowflakes with a circle die. I added a bow from sparkly silver ribbon.

Muse Card Challenge #145
Here is this week's Muse created by Joan Bardee. It's for the current challenge at Muse Card Challenge
I focused on
I used this SU stamp set and die to create the wreath.
I stamped the wreath with a light green ink. I added some shading with a marker. I die cut the wreath and then fussy cut the wreath so that it was open-ended and open in the centre. I stamped the pink bow and used the die to cut it out.
I cut a white circle to create the tag. I used some silver cord for the tag string and bow. I adhered the tag with dimensionals to "pop" the tag up.
I used this embossing folder with a light pink cardstock to create the texture. I added some Wink of Stella on random "raised dots" to add sparkle and shine.
