Papertrey Make It Monday #231 - Motif Building

Here is my card

It's for the current challenge at Papertrey Ink - Blog

 Motif Building
check out the link where there is a video describing the process

Unfortunately,  I didn't have any "small" element Papertrey Ink stamp sets. So I had to improvise.

I started with this Spruce & Sprigs set which seems to be set up to build up "scenes".

The sentiment is from this stamp set

Muse Challenge #142

Here's my card

It's for the current challenge at Muse Card Challenge

Here is Anita Bowden's Muse Card

I focused on:
- the outline leaves
- the teal/aqua colour
- the double score lines
- the small sentiment tag
- the two small hearts

I masked of the area using 3M Post it tape and I used the open leaves from this Paper Smooches stamp set

I removed the post-it tape and using my scor-pal, I added the score lines.

I used this Impression Obsession die set to cut out the tag. The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted. I didn't have a tag die with stitches so I added small dots with a black pen.

I also added two small hearts cut from teal cardstock.

To add dimension, I cut a fun foam panel, just a bit smaller than my cardfront.

Here's a close-up

CAS on Sunday Challenge #71 - Tag It

Here's my card

It's for the current challenge at CAS on Sunday

Tag it! use a tag on your card

I used this embossing folder to create some texture.

I inked up a piece of white cardstock using ink blending tools and distress inks (tumbled glass, broken china and salty ocean). I made a tag using Stampin Up Ornate Tag Topper punch. I made a second tag using a piece of cardstock in a matching colour.

The sentiment is from Catherine Pooler's Stamp of Approval

I die cut the snowflake using this Simon Says STAMP die

CAS(E) this Sketch #149 & Simon Says STAMP Wednesday Challenge

Here's my card

It's for the current challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch!

Also for the current challenge at Simon Says STAMP Wednesday Challenge

This week the challenge is

THINKING OF YOU

I used 3M post-it tape to mask off the center area.  I added distress inks with ink blending tools to mimic a sunset - squeezed lemonade, ripe persimmon, picked raspberry and chipped sapphire.

I used one of my favourite stamp sets from Technique Tuesday for both the grass and dragonfly silhouettes and the sentiment.

MFT Card Challenges: Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 253

Here's my card

It's for the current challenge at My Favorite Things Blog

I checked my MFT stamps and dies and found that I didn't have any stars.I found this die set and decided to use it. I had inked up a card panel with distress inks (ripe persimmon, abandoned coral and picked raspberry). I used it to cut out the flowers.

I cut a banner and used a sentiment from this MFT stamp set.

I felt that the card needed a bit more so I used an embossing folder to add "stripes" to the background.
