Muse Card Challenge #134

Here's my card
It's for the current challenge at Muse Card Club

The Muse is Anita's card

I looked around my craft room for a stamp to mimic Anita's circles. I was planning on heat embossing so the thought of stamping repeated individual circles didn't appeal to me. I settled on this Hero Arts stamp.

Here's a close-up

I used diluted distress inks (spun sugar, shabby shutters and salty ocean) to colour in random sections. The chose two of the colours that Anita used. I don't have (yet) cracked pistachio so it was replaced with shabby shutters. I used silver thread to make a small "nest", like Anita. I chose to use the Simon Says STAMP thanks die instead of a hello sentiment, as I have more use for a thanks card than a hello card.

  1. Sue, I love the random watercoloring in that fabulous white embossed background. I also love the thread and the SSS thanks die cut...I used that one, too! Great take on the Muse card this week!
